Client Advice

When I am meeting with a potential client I listen to where they are with their finances and where their money is causing them stress in life. I love when at the beginning of the conversation I can hear the frustration in their voice and then after listening for an hour and asking questions, I explain to them how I can help them as a coach.

Here are the 5 things I discuss in a consultation with a client and how they can help you with any area of your life.

#1: Decide. The first thing that a client must do is decide that they are ready to change. If 5 frogs are sitting on a log and 1 decides to jump off, how many are still on the log? 5. Because they didn’t do it yet, they just decided to do it. But making that choice is the first thing to change your behavior.

#2: Jump in. This is where you actually jump off the log and into the unknown. I am looking for clients who are willing to trust me. Just like when my son is standing on the edge of the pool, you have to trust me that I won’t let you drown. But you must jump in, I can’t push you.

#3: Get fired up. Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Have you tried “everything” and nothing works? Get ready to change your life. Get excited about where this financial journey is going to take you.

#4: Communication. You must be open and honest with yourself, with your partner and with me, your coach. If you aren’t willing to really look at the ugly in yourself, you can’t make it better.

#5: Be grateful. No matter what your situation is, there is always something to be grateful for. This keeps you from dwelling on your issues and looking at some of the positives in life.

I love working with people who are ready and willing to change their life and their financial future for the better. If you’re ready, contact me today and let’s get started.
